Termite Control

Whether you have a termite problem right now or want to prevent one from ever happening, the Sentricon® system helps take and keep control of your home or business. The Sentricon® system is scientifically designed to eliminate the entire subterranean termite colony — including its queen. Never had termites? Keep it that way with Sentricon.

Eastern Subterranean termite workers are small, opaque insects that can separate wood or other cellulose from its source. Workers live their entire lives in dark tunnels, both above and below ground. They do not have eyes because they do not need them. But, interestingly enough, they can still tell the difference between light and dark. They know being in the light means they are in danger of predator attacks, not to mention losing valuable moisture from their bodies. When worker termites find themselves in the light, they return to the dark as quickly as they can.
Formosan termite swarmers are yellowish-brown. Formosan termites are always hungry, and they eat wood. A lot of wood. They don’t care if it’s a dead tree on the ground, a live tree in your yard or the wooden structural components of your house. It really doesn’t matter to them. With possibly more than 10 million mouths to feed in their colonies, Formosan termites just want a substantial source of food, and that’s a 24/7 operation.

Mosquito Control
In South Louisiana, mosquitos can make outdoor entertaining, maintaining a backyard pool, or relaxing outside in the evening a challenge. Luckily, we have a solution. With the MistAway® mosquito control system, you can preset times to activate the system or press a button on a remote to knock down mosquitos and other biting insects around the perimeter of your home.
To determine if this treatment will fit your needs and lifestyle, we encourage you to give us a call at 985-868-3920. Our experts will professionally design a system which is customized to your living style and unique needs. Even if you do not need anything elaborate, we can provide you with the right mosquito control solutions, including one-time treatment for special events and outdoor parties.

Insulation Services

Qualify for a $1,200 Tax Credit
T•A•P™ (Terminal Acoustical Pest Control) insulation is a merger of two technologies: borate-based pest control and energy-efficient, all-natural cellulose insulation. This type of insulation offers many benefits, including environmental friendliness, and it is a unique method of pest control.
This type of insulation is made from recycled paper and can be installed in new and existing homes and buildings. It outperforms traditional insulation is almost every way and also provides control against pests such as silverfish, ants, and cockroaches. Another perk is it can be applied directly over your existing attic insulation, and we will determine the amount of insulation needed to accomplish the R-Value you want.
Along with credits for roofing, doors and windows, insulation improvement costs can be written off on your taxes up to $1,200 per year from now until 2033. This is not cash in your hand, but a credit you can claim on your annual tax return that will reduce the federal taxes you need to pay as a homeowner.
Congress introduced new energy efficiency home improvement credits for home insulation as part of their Inflation Reduction Act. In addition to tax credits, the Act includes rebates under the department of energy.
You can apply for your residential energy credits by completing Form 5695 on your taxes. A tax professional can help you claim these credits and stay abreast of any changes to requirements and procedures that may result from the new law. If you have any questions about the tax implications of installing insulation, please consult a tax professional.
